Our farm
Between the meadows of Bormio and the high pastures of Valfurva lies the agricultural heart of Agriturismo La Stalla: a small family-run farm where around twenty Brown Swiss cows live in step with the rhythms of nature.
From May to September they graze freely in the fields and on the alpine pastures; in the winter months they find shelter in the cowshed, where they are looked after with care and respect.
The hay that feeds them comes from our own meadows, cut and gathered in summer, and the milk they produce is delivered to a local dairy, where it is turned into cheeses and dairy products with an authentic flavour, rich with the scent of grass and mountain sunshine.
Every part of our work reflects our passion for the land, the simplicity of rural life and our deep bond with the mountains of Valtellina.

Shared spaces for relaxation and time together
To make your stay even more enjoyable, guests at Agriturismo La Stalla can take advantage of large shared areas designed for relaxation and socialising.
Outside, a large garden with a barbecue area is available for summer grills and outdoor moments, surrounded by greenery and tranquillity.
Inside, a cosy wooden stube can be reserved in advance for evenings or small get-togethers with friends. No food or drinks are served, but the room is available as a warm, traditional space where you can spend a few hours together in good company.
For sports lovers, the property also offers a secure storage area for skis, boots and bicycles, making it easy and safe to enjoy the mountains in every season.
